You can get Ykhwong's DOSBox here (you will need 7-Zip) In Ykhwong DOSBox environment, use IMGMAKE command to make 2 2 gigabyte hardrives.
LODE RUNNER LEGEND RETURNS DOWNLOAD INSTALL
This is what I'm thinking, if you have a copy of Windows 98 Second Edition (Don't bother installing the first edition or Windows 95, it will only cause unnecessary pain), you can install it on a custom made version of DOSBox by Ykhwong. EDIT: Okay, while I don't have Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, after looking it up at Google images, it looks like it would take less CPU/RAM/Graphics power than DOOM for Windows 95. And don't worry, I will give you a proper tutorial once these questions are asked, just look at my tutorial for this guy. If it really is a problem with your computer reading the data on the disk, you can get DOS games to run perfectly on the Macintosh with DOSBox. Is the game actually for DOS? DOSBox only runs DOS games, make sure your version of Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, is for DOS and NOT for Windows, as a Windows version does exist. What version of DOSBox do you have? Make sure you have the latest official version, 0.74, you can get it here. If you are the only user for DOSBox, install to "C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\DOSBox-0.74" if more than one user is using it, install to "C:\DOSBox-0.74" For more info, see my answer here.
LODE RUNNER LEGEND RETURNS DOWNLOAD 64 BIT
What version of Windows 7 do you have? 32 or 64 bit (yes, it makes a difference) Where did you install DOSBox? Folders like "C:\Program Files" and "C:\Program Files (x86)" while defiantly prevent DOSBox from working correctly. Now, before I get into a long tutorial, I need a few answers. If for some reason, DOSBox prevents you from using "\", use "/" instead.

Go to "My Computer" and list me all your driver letters in the "Additional Details" Also, your syntax for the Mount command is wrong, your wrote "MOUNT D D: -t cdrom" which will get you nowhere, as the proper syntax is "MOUNT D D:\ -t cdrom" without the quotes. It sounds to me that drive "D" isn't your CD-ROM drive. I got the game "Lode Runner: The Legend Returns" for christmas, thinking I could run it in DOSbox, I've watched so many tutorials and I'm so lost, please help.
